Be the Best

“Be the Best You Can Be”

As parents you will all be aware of our “Be the Best You Can Be” programme that we have been involved in throughout this year.

You will know that the programme is designed to unlock and develop aspirations and dreams in every child. The programme works to help young people take more control of their lives. Learning that qualities such as determination, resilience, courage and pride can help you to achieve your goals and dreams.

The children have met inspirational guests such as Brandan Reilly (double Olympian and Josef Craig ( Gold Paralympic Swimmer) who have taught them that ordinary children can grow up to have extra-ordinary achievements and that working hard and never giving up can get you to  where you want to be.

They have set their own goals for the future, planned what they would need to do to get there and who can help them on their way. They have all learned the skills of listening to others and using effective questioning to help to coach others in achieving their goals.

You children will have talked at home about the activities we have done in class, their dream books and being involved in our Dream Days. We now approach the time where we will be celebrating the success of our project and rewarding those how have really taken on board the values and thoughts we have talked about. Keep your eyes out for information coming up.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to the next big time we can work together to promote these positive values with your children.

In the meantime take a look at some of the photos below to see what we have been up to…
