MEMORY WALK

A few of us from school completed the ‘Memory Walk’ in aid of Alzheimers Research either at Wollaton park or Clumber Park, this was also to show our support with being a ‘Dementia Friendly’ school. Councillor Wheeler was meant to join us but we couldn’t find him in the crowd and the phone reception was non existent. Sadly he ended up completing the walk on his own whilst we had a good old natter.

Our school is wanting to promote awareness and appreciation of the difficulties experienced by people and their families, affected by dementia. We are working with the Alzheimers Society and Gedling BC to become ‘Dementia Friend Champions’.

Below are some useful websites sharing further information, we hope you find these useful and informative. Please let us know if you would like to get involved in any way.
